26th October 2020

Wales enters its second lockdown this week which the Welsh Government are calling a 'Fire break.' We understand that this is for a fixed period of 16 days and 6 hours (to be precise)! So as far as we know we will be allowed back open on Tuesday 10th, but to allow us time to adjust and prepare, we will be reopening the cottages for short breaks as well as whole week escapes from Wednesday 11th November.

The CL caravan site is now closed until 27th March 2021..opening just in time for a welcome Easter break.

The Bed and Breakfast is also now closed for the winter. We look to reopen our boutique rooms to all guests in spring 2021.

Our priority remains to keep our people, families and the local community safe and well, and to ensure our guests are not unnecessarily exposed while out and about or travelling to and from West Wales. We will continue to ask all our guests to comply with the government guidance in place at the time of their holiday.

We will continue to have measures in place in 2021 to safeguard everyone visiting our cottages and on site, including deep cleaning at changeovers and provision of hand soap and sanitiser.

We are approved by Visit Wales as meeting the 'Good to Go' industry standard for the holiday cottages, campsite and the bed and breakfast.

The Covid19 pandemic continues to place a big strain on small businesses like ourselves and on the wider tourist industry of West Wales. As we head into winter, people are already looking to book for 2021 with the hope and optimism that we will ride out the coming winter and be ready for a well earned break come springtime.

With the increasing need for reliable home-working, our free ultrafast fibre broadband has been extended to ensure everyone at Llainfran now has fast links to the outside world if that's what you need. Just turn up, log on and off you go, whether you're having a business zoom call or engaged with home schooling.

We have also introduced risk-free flexible bookings to allow you to make any new holiday booking with confidence. This means that if you make a booking for any date in 2020 and government advice against travel is imposed, we will allow you to role your booking forward to a date in 2021. All you need to do is contact us and select new dates to suit you and your family. If the new holiday costs more, you can add to the original booking, or we can give you a credit note if you take a shorter/lower value break. We ask that any changes to your booking are made no later than 7 days before your holiday arrival date.

Further regular updates will be posted by us on Instagram and Facebook so please keep in touch!

Meanwhile, take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

Jane and Gary ❤️

Llainfran scenic views & wildlife

West Wales and the Cardigan Bay coast has some of the most scenic coastal landscapes within the UK.

There are panoramic sea and coastline views from the Wales Coast Path and the many coves, beaches and headlands that define this lesser known corner of Wales.

For lovers of wildlife and the natural environment, the unspoilt coastline, secluded coves and coastal waters provide home to dolphins, seals, and sea birds. Watching dolphins from the harbour wall in New Quay is a real treat for our guests.

WHAT OUR GUEST SAY...

Llainfran exceeded our expectations. The house has proved to be a home from home with high standards throughout
