Covid-19 Policy
We take your health and safety into account at every stage of our process
This has been a very challenging time, of course not just for the hospitality industry but for us all and we are delighted to now be able to welcome guests back to Llainfran.
As you will no doubt appreciate, we are operating under new guidance and for regular guests, you will see some minor changes, but we are hopeful that these will not detract from your stay with us.
Please note that you must not not travel if you or any of your party have had any of the COVID-19 symptoms in the 7 days before travel to Llainfran or have been exposed to anyone with a positive test result for 14 days before travel. You cannot self-isolate at Llainfran.
To comply with the Welsh Government’s ‘Track, Trace and Protect’ requirements, it is our legal responsibility to hold the names and contact details of all guests booked to stay with us at Llainfran Holidays within the Bed and Breakfast, within our cottages, and on our CL campsite. We may ask you for these at the time of booking or on your arrival and are required to retain these for up to 21 days in case of contact by a contact tracer.

To ensure we have sufficient time to prepare your room, we ask you to please check in after 4pm, unless otherwise agreed with us.
On arrival, please stop and drop off your bags in the porch at the front door of the main house and then park in the bed and breakfast car park. Please follow the sign for the car park. Your room will be un-locked with the keys in the door.

Should you develop Covid-19 symptoms during your stay please inform one of us immediately.
The Guest Information Book in your room has information to help you during your stay including our contact details should you need advice about your room, local amenities or any other matters.
In compliance with Government guidance, we are asking guests to wear a form of face covering during their stay when walking around communal areas, once seated they are fine to remove it.
Cleaning & Housekeeping
Prior to COVID19, housekeeping and cleanliness has always been one of our top priorities with communal areas cleaned each day. Since Government guidance is to minimise time in guest rooms, we have made the decision to clean and make up guest rooms on an alternate day basis. If you would rather we didn’t access your room then please let us know.
We will spend more time cleaning communal areas each day, ensuring all light switches, door handles and any touch points are disinfected regularly.
We have undertaken a full risk assessment, and we will be wearing the appropriate PPE when undertaking housekeeping tasks.
Llainfran Cottages
These procedures apply to Tydu View Cottage, Stable Cottage, Bwthyn Nyth Fach and Pendre Farmhouse.
Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to be COVID-19 secure and are following all relevant government and public health guidance. A COVID-19 risk assessment has been carried out to ensure we have the required processes in place.

Cleaning & Housekeeping
Prior to COVID19, housekeeping and cleanliness has always been one of our top priorities with thorough cleaning taking place between guests.
As you would expect, given the current Covid-19 advice, we are spending more time cleaning your cottage before your arrival, ensuring all light switches, door handles, worktops and any other touch points are disinfected. We are dishwashing all kitchen items, crockery and cutlery between guest departures and new arrivals. This is why we are having to ask you not to arrive before 5pm so that we have sufficient time to complete our cleaning and sanitisation work.
We have undertaken a full risk assessment, and we will be wearing the appropriate PPE when undertaking housekeeping tasks.
CL Caravan Site
These procedures apply to guests staying at Llainfran Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Site.
